The 'Lowest Place on Earth'
Moshav Neot HaKikar, south of the Dead Sea, houses the “Lowest Place on Earth” – a complex surrounded by a landscape unique to the region. The area has many attractions and excursions – The Mushroom (mushroom-shaped rock formation), a spring with ‘tickling’ fish, and it’s about half an hour’s drive from the beaches of Ein Bokek.
The complex operates as a hostel and offers functional accommodation at affordable prices. The atmosphere is warm and family-oriented and the hostel has a variety of different-sized rooms and a diversity of accessories. There are private and shared compounds for every holiday purpose. The courtyard has shared seating areas and a private pool for guests only. For especially large groups, the entire complex can be reserved for your use.
There are a variety of accommodation options to choose from:
A family suite with a shower, a private toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. (up to 3 guests)
A family unit with shower and toilet, large living room and fully equipped kitchen (up to 7 guests).
3 double rooms – with shared shower, toilet and kitchen.
A large unit – up to 22 guests, especially suitable for extended families and groups – with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and private courtyard.
Delicious breakfasts can also be ordered at an extra cost.
For Noam, who established the place, service is first and foremost and he always takes care of everything the guest needs. And as one who grew up in the area, he is familiar with, and connected to, the region and will always be happy to give advice on hiking trails, and attractions worth getting to know.
