The trail to Ein Bokek, in the Bokek Stream, is an enchanting experience in the Dead Sea Land, and is the closest trail to the Ein Bokek hotels.
The new entrance to the trail is well positioned and there is no longer any need to park dangerously on Route 90. Enter from the Sonol gas station’s access road in Ein Bokek and park your car in the designated travelers’ parking lot.
When passing the large sign with directions for hikers, you immediately enter the stream route and walk through the cool, shallow creek-water that flows along its path between shrubs and trees, which cast shade along most of the route.
Along the stream you will encounter small rock-pools suitable for wading in and eventually, you will reach Ein Bokek, which is a relatively large and stunning pool in the desert landscape, on a rocky terrace.
After visiting the upper pool, you will backtrack to the parking lot.
