Korin's Home - Cookery Workshops

The cookery workshops at Korin’s Home, are workshops with the aromas of Turkish cuisine.
Korin received her love of cooking from home, and in her workshops she will share with you some of the secret recipes that have been handed down through the generations of her family, for 100 years.

The workshop is founded on Turkish dairy or vegetarian cuisine and the recipes are based mainly on local agriculture. On the menu – stuffed vine leaves, stuffed peppers, rice and herbs, pastries from various doughs, homemade jams and more.
And, of course, it’s not possible without the preparation of a classic Turkish dessert, from beginning to end.

At the conclusion of the workshop, you can indulge in “all this goodness” straight from Korin’s table, or you can pack up and take your handmade goodies and enjoy the meal wherever you choose.

Apart from food, the gathering is spiced with many stories – about life in Neot HaKikar, life experiences and stories from the house of Korin’s mother.

The workshop is about two and a half hours long and suitable for families, groups, team-building days and more (5-20 participants).

So, it’s time to wear an apron and start chopping, seasoning, stirring, rolling, cooking, baking, eating and having fun!

Karma Studio for Macramé

Hi! I’m Irit from Neot HaKikar - the macramé studio is in my backyard.                                           I design and create macramé jewelry with an influence from the desert  environment where I grew up, and inspiration from East Asia, where I’ve  traveled. I create decorative and useful macramé and hold workshops to transfer  my knowledge and love of the art. The workshops are customized and built  according to the group (couple, family, group of 10 participants). No prior  experience is necessary. At the end of the two-hour workshop, you’ll leave with  something you created!  Book in advance.  A little bit about me... I was born in Moshav Neot HaKikar in the south of the  Dead Sea, famous for its beautiful marl rock formations and amazing desert  landscapes. There were always creative materials in my parents’ house. Since I  can remember, I’ve always loved to create things with different materials. I was  mainly attracted to threads and beads, which is how I came to fall in love with  macramé.
