At the heart of Kibbutz Ein Gedi is a magnificent botanical garden that was planted in 1953 and is home to over 900 different plant species.
The garden, which stretches across the length and breadth of kibbutz and offers the possibility of a lovely pastoral walk, features cactuses and succulents, African baobab,and plants used in the manufacture of perfume and incense.
