Katie is originally from Hungary where she studied business management and cooking and even ran her own restaurant.
Today, Katie lives in Ein Tamar, south of the Dead Sea, and draws her inspiration from the desert, together with traditional Hungarian cuisine. A particularly interesting combination that culminates in an authentic fusion of flavors.
Katie’s dream is to develop quality cuisine at the Dead Sea, and bring renewal to the region.
Katie is starting out with a buffet that serves delicious food for all Kikar Sodom guests and residents, and with many dreams still to be realized.
The buffet is located in the pool complex of Moshav Neot HaKikar (and operates even when the pool is closed in the evening) – open to all!
The buffet serves a quick menu and handmade sweets. You can eat at the venue or order a takeaway.
In addition, Katie also provides a home-cooked catering service for groups, by appointment (minimum of 15 servings and up to 50 servings.). You can order authentic Hungarian food – goulash, kurtosh, and more. Self-collection or delivery.
Full hospitality is available (including hospitality venue) at an additional cost.
