Nahal David (David Stream) at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve contains a waterfall that flows throughout the year, bright green shrubs and trees, and a fun-filled trail that’s accessible to the whole family.
The trail offers a great variety of vegetation, and if your eyes are sharp enough, you’ll be able to see the rock hyraxes peeking through the bushes.
At the end of the trail is the famous Shulamit Waterfall, where cool water flows all year round and offers a refreshing swimming experience.
Trail length: 1.5 kilometers
Duration: 2 hours
Suitable for: families
Fun fact: Nahal David takes its name from King David, who, according to the Bible, hid here when he fled from Saul.
